WATER EXTRACTION & DRYING
Regardless of the nature or scope, an immediate response to a water loss is critical. It takes only a few hours for a small loss to become a big problem. Water damage is generally caused by flooding, burst pipes or fire suppression.
Water migration and increased humidity in a structure can result in damage to contents and the structure itself, and creates a breeding ground for mold. The first step is to quickly remove the standing water, get contents moved to a safe location and initiate a dry out. Depending on the category of water and the extent of the loss, the dry out can take as little as three days and involve limited demolition. Walls, ceilings, hardwood floors, even contents can be thoroughly dried, in place, in some cases.
The phases for water damage include water extraction, structural drying, advanced dehumidifying, mold remediation, carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning, document salvage, drying & reprocessing, electronics restoration and structural repairs.
